| I ordered 3 filters on a Thursday afternoon. They were delivered the very next day. I took advantage of standard supersaver shipping. The Honeywell filters perfectly fit the Honeywell return housing. The MERV rating of 8 is, I believe, adequate for residential use. |
Item is Indeed a Bit Larger than Described

As others have noted, this is not actually a 4" filter; it's closer to 4.5". That is not a problem for my receptacle: the filter fits the opening, albeit snugly. If my receptacle's space were slightly less, however, I would be forced to return this item.
My filter was well packed and arrived promptly. It was packed in an absolutely huge box -- perhaps that kept the filter from being crushed, but it seems like an excessive use of cardboard. |

| The filter may be great, but I may never know. The dimensions given (16x25x4) are smaller than the actual dimensions of the item (x4.25) and won't fit in the furnace. Better spec information would have helped. |

| I ordered this one (20x24x4). The one that came is the same company but 16x24x4. Close, but no cigar. I'll be buying my filters locally. |
